What is Disability Resources?
Disability Resources facilitates an accessible community where students with disabilities have an equal opportunity to fully participate in all aspects of the educational environment. This occurs through partnerships with students, faculty, staff, and the community to promote students' independence and inclusion to ensure recognition of their abilities, not their disabilities.
The Disability Resources Program at CCC is committed to providing inclusive and accessible educational opportunities to eligible students enrolled at CCC. Services provided are individually tailored to meet the needs of each specific student.
Students in the program are provided with reasonable and appropriate accommodations and training in the use of assistive technology. Every student in the program is also offered advocacy by the Disability Resources Program.
Where is Disability Resources?
The disability resource offices are located on the Lone Tree Campus in rooms 112a, b, and c. Disability Resources staff offer most services remotely, and can also meet people in person at the Fourth Street campus upon request.

How do I get my IEP in College?
After high school, students with disabilities are served in a different way with what is called a Letter of Accommodations. Disability resources uses your IEP along with other appropriate qualifying documentation to create a Letter of Accommodation tailored to best serve your individualized needs.
What is expected of students enrolled in the Disability Resources department?
Student participation is voluntary. Students choose when they need to utilize their accommodations in their classes, but they must remember to formally request accommodations every semester they wish to use them.
